[ She turns it in her hands a little, then sets it on the ground as she lays down. Now, she gives a bright smile. ]

So I've been looking everywhere for you guys, but I haven't seen any of you yet! You guys didn't just go ahead without me, right? I mean, this is a totally different world and all, but some of you have to be here, too. We were all together a second ago, so it's not like I'm the only one of us here... [ Of course. ]

Anyway, we totally have to catch up soon! I have to introduce you guys to Fen and Yui and Yawn Chan. I just met them all yesterday, but they're so nice! Oh, and there's a girl from the Southern Water Tribe here called Korra, too. Apparently I'm really famous down there... [ A little giggle. ] I don't know who she's with, but we should definitely all travel together. It'll be like an adventure! Although the card with my name on it says my adventure started yesterday... Of course, it also says I'm a trainer. Hey, what do yours say?

You too? Hmmm... I wonder if we're supposed to train the animals... I could do that! I'm going to teach Fen tons of things later, and my friends a breeder, so she's going to start a farm!

No... Although I don't know how I'd be able to tell if I didn't already know them. Unless it was someone like Anteaterina or Mr. Cat.

We're supposed to train them to fight.

Mr. Cat? Oh! Does he look like a squirrel-cat? That would be really cute.

To fight but- [ She flips over and runs off to pick up her Cleffa. ] -she's so tiny! And she doesn't have little fingers on her paws yet... [ Looking at her tiny, blunt arms as the Cleffa looks back in confusion. ]

No, just a cat. He was my ballet teacher.

[Distracted by Fen.] Oh, she's so cute! [Her Pidove hops up on her shoulder and coos in her ear.] Umm, well, I don't really know how she could fight, though. I hear if they fight and get stronger, they grow up to be different pokémon or something?

But I think some of them have powers, so maybe yours is like that.

Wow, that is so cool. I never saw a cat-cat before... [ This makes her daydream a bit because. Very cool.

Until she sees her Pidove! Then she coos a little herself. ] Oh, your bird is really cute, too! [ But hmm, looking at Fen again who gives a little "Fa?" ] I don't know if I want her to change into another pokémon. I mean, she's so little and cute like this...

[ But then she perks up again. ] But it'd be totally cool if she had special powers.

Yeah, I sort of feel the same way about Gurren. But I don't want him to get hurt, so it's probably good for him to get stronger.

I wonder if we can train them without letting them get hurt at all. Like a practice match between your Gurren and my Fen! Because they definitely need to get stronger, but...

Well, the other day I saw these two pokémon just splashing each other. Their trainer seemed to think it was good practice. I dunno how useful it was, but I bet we can figure something out.

[ She claps her hands together. ] But that's a great idea! It'll be so much fun for them to just splash around in the water together and get strong.

[Neither of them know Splash, so it'll be kind of useless. Not that it wasn't useless anyway.] It does sound like fun.

[ And Ty Lee isn't even thinking of it. ] Let's do it! We can even get bathing suits and join them. It'll be amazing.

[Neither is Duck, she hasn't quite got a handle on moves and anything relating to gaming abstractions.] Well, I was planning on leaving town tomorrow, but there's a beach in Cherrygrove... Plus I really wanna go swimming now.

Okay! I'll wait for you!

[ They can learn this stuff together... ]

Really? Then we can leave together! I can't wait to go to the beach again.

Uh, wait, where exactly are you now?

Cherrygrove! It's the nearest town to New Bark Town!

And you haven't gone swimming yet?! We totally have to go, then! I'll be there for you right away.

I didn't think of it until we talked about it just now!
